Last Monday at my Mother of Preschoolers (MOPS) group one of our mentor moms talked about Mission Statements for your family. Her discussion about sitting down with your husband and family and deciding what ideas, concepts, values are most important to you really resonated with me. She mentioned that if you don't decide for your family your "Mission Statement" then the world will decide for you. That was a rather scary thought in a culture of instant gratification, consumerism, and a focus on self. Therefore, I am compelled and excited to work on the "Dolibois Family Mission Statement." I will keep you posted with the results!
